WIN A BBQ, WEEKEND CARNIVAL GAMES WHERE KIDS CAN WIN FREE FOOD AND BEER FOR DAD AT THE BELVEDERE

Looking for a way to spoil dad before Father’s Day while also keeping the kids entertained? The Belvedere at Queensland’s Woody Point is hosting a “Festival of Dad” with smoked brisket, live music and carnival games where kids can win free food and beer for dad on Saturday, 31 August.

Families can create lasting memories at the dedicated photo wall, while kids enjoy face painting and the popular "Catch a Duck" carnival game, where they can win prizes for their dads.

Food takes centre stage at this event, with The Belvedere's chefs preparing a massive New York deli-style brisket sandwich special, cooked live in the courtyard. This culinary spectacle is just one part of a full menu offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, ensuring dads are treated to delicious meals throughout the day.

For those feeling lucky, a special raffle offers the chance to win a BBQ and meat tray. Participants can enter by purchasing a pitcher of beer or having a shot at a hole in one on our mini golf.

Art enthusiasts will be captivated by a live wood-burning demonstration by Emily Rose, a talented artist from Burleigh. Over four hours, Emily will create a stunning piece featuring the Woody Point jetty and sunset. This unique artwork will be raffled off at the end of the day, giving one lucky dad a one-of-a-kind keepsake.

The fun will continue on Sunday, with the first 100 dads receiving a free pair of Belvedere-branded socks.

"We're excited to offer this special celebration for fathers and their families. From our delicious smoked brisket sandwich to interactive games where kids can treat their dads to free beer and food, we've created an experience that caters to everyone. It's our way of recognising the important role fathers play in our community," said Sarah Casey, Belvedere’s Marketing Manager.

The Belvedere's Father's Day Festival is more than just an event; it's an opportunity for families to come together, create memories, and show appreciation for the father figures in their lives. With its mix of entertainment, food, and activities, it promises to be a highlight of the year.
