To celebrate its partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 team,        Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey has released a limited-edition McLaren Racing bottle in Australia, with a whiskey expert predicting each $80 700ml bottle could significantly increase in value as a collectors item in the years to come.

The first in a highly-collectible series of exclusive releases, the limited-edition McLaren x Jack Daniel’s bottle is only available in select markets across the globe and features unique packaging to commemorate each brand’s pioneering founders - Jack Daniel’s and Bruce McLaren.

With just 2,000 cases available in Australia, stock is limited - and according to a local whiskey expert, picking up a bottle could prove to be a sound investment.

Oliver Maruda, co-founder of Australia’s largest online whisky retailer, The Whisky List, said:

“Despite our small population, Australia is the third-largest export market for US Whiskey. There has always been serious demand for brands like Jack Daniel's here, especially with limited edition expressions having completely sold out.

"This unique collaboration between Jack Daniel's and McLaren gives whiskey and F1 fans a great opportunity to pick up a bottle to drink now and another to collect for the future. Given this bottle is a limited-edition offering, it's highly likely it will rise in value in the years to come.”

Emily Nget, Brand Manager at Jack Daniel’s Australia, added:

“Our partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 team is one we’re truly proud of with our shared foundation of celebrating team sport and drinking responsibly. This limited-edition bottle will give Jack Daniel’s and McLaren fans another reason to celebrate, with the opportunity for them to own a piece of brand history in a bottle.”

The limited-edition ‘McLaren x Jack Daniel’s’ bottle will include Jack Daniel’s classic Tennessee Whiskey grain bill of 80% corn, 8% rye, and 12% malted barley, bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV).

Available at Dan Murphy’s, Liquorland, First Choice, Boozebud and other independent retailers from 1st August 2023 until stock lasts, the 700mL limited-edition bottle is available at an RRP of AUD $80.

To celebrate the launch, Jack Daniel’s will also be launching a competition to give away seven limited-edition bottles via its Instagram and Facebook channels from 1 - 14 August. Conditions apply
